April 28, 2011 Incoming Storm

This video was filmed in Robinson, IL. on April 28, 2011, at 3:40 pm on Robb St.The temperature was 63 degrees F. and the humidity was at 63%, with a dew point of 50 degrees. The winds were from the West South West at 24 m.p.h gusting to 30 m.p.h. There was heavy rains and thunder and lightning storms. This storm did not last all that long and within thirty minuets the sky was clear and the sun was shinning. We are still in a flood warning.

The second photo was taken on the corner of North Robb Street and Mefford Street in Robinson. The bottom picture was taken on the corner of Main Street and Madison Street in Robinson.

Incoming Storm video recorded on Tuesday April 20,2011

This video was taken on Tuesday April 20. Further weather details are in the video. I have only had access to a video recorder for a short time and it never fails that we get storms after dark. I hope you can see some of the storm. After this video was shot and I came back in the house, I noticed that they had upgraded us to a tornado warning.Many parts of the state lost electricity and had a lot of damage, we were lucky. I am still hoping to get a video of a storm when there is still some daylight.

Hello class, It has been awhile since I have posted. I have not been feeling well. Well I had a hard time finding a video camera so I just updated my phone and used that recorder. The quality is not that great, but when I used a higher resolution it would not upload to youtube. This video was taken on Friday April 15th, 2011. It was taken in my front yard in Robinson, IL. I give many more details of the incoming storm on the video.

 These two photos were taken on Wednesday March 23, 2011, in my front yard in Robinson. The photos were taken at 6:17 p.m. A cold front was coming through after three days of beautiful warm, spring weather. At the time these photo's were taken it was 65 degrees F. and the winds were out of the W.N.W. at 27 m.p.h. with winds gusting to 34 m.p.h.. The temperature was expected to drop to the 40's on Thursday. The sky was bright and beautiful. I would classify these clouds as Cirrostratus, but in the bottom photo they look more like Cumulus clouds.

Sorry there was not a post yesterday, but we did not have Internet due to the storm. Today the sun is shinning! The winds are out of the WSW at 1 mph. The current humidity is at 73% with a dew point of 9 degrees F. Pressure is 30.61 in. and falling. It is currently 15 degrees F., highs should be in the low 20s today.

Incoming Storm. February 1, 2011

All of these photo's are from an incoming storm system during a break in the storm. They were taken from my front yard. These photo's were taken at 8:30 a.m., as you can see it is overcast. I like to title these photo's as "What a beautiful mess". Getting ready for the worst of the storm, I will post more photo's later.
