 Another shot same place and time, if you look closely you can see the moon. It was not close or clear enough to tell if it was a Cirrostratus cloud as I can't tell if the moon has a halo around the moon,

All of the following photo's were taken from my home in Robinson. They were taken on February 2, 2011 at 3:29 p.m. It had just stopped the freezing rain. There were a lot of chain saws going on the morning of Feb. 2 cleaning up all the debris.
If you look at the photo's from the other day you can see the ice is much thicker.

This is Pompus Grass that usually stands very tall, but was weighted down with ice.

Sorry there was not a post yesterday, but we did not have Internet due to the storm. Today the sun is shinning! The winds are out of the WSW at 1 mph. The current humidity is at 73% with a dew point of 9 degrees F. Pressure is 30.61 in. and falling. It is currently 15 degrees F., highs should be in the low 20s today.


Fun Fact: Lightning seems to prefer to strike men over women approximately 85% of those struck by lightning are men. Interestingly, the fatality rate of women struck by lightning is higher than of men struck by lightning.

All of these photo's are from an incoming storm system during a break in the storm. They were taken from my front yard. These photo's were taken at 8:30 a.m., as you can see it is overcast. I like to title these photo's as "What a beautiful mess". Getting ready for the worst of the storm, I will post more photo's later.
