Saturday February 05, 2011

We are under a winter weather advisory until noon. Light snow will continue across East Central and Southeast Illinois, expected snowfall between 2 to 4 inches. It is currently 28 degrees F. and feels like 20 degrees. Winds are coming from NW.at 7 mph. The humidity is at 98% with a dew point of 27 degrees. A steady light snow will taper off and end early afternoon. Cloudy with temperatures steady near the low 30s. There is a 70% chance of snow.

Fun Fact:
Raindrops do not really look like the traditional tear-shaped pictures. They actually flatten out as they fall, forming more of a pancake shape instead.
